News from Loreto Rumbek - December has been a busy month for us with the end of the academic year, Government Examinations and the beginning of our Summer holidays! The Primary examination went well and the Secondary candidates are currently sitting, their last exam will be Maths on Christmas Eve!

We would like to congratulate Pat Murray IBVM Irish Province. Sr. Pat has been appointed by Pope Francis as a Consultor to the Pontifical Council for Culture.
We have just begun our mid-term break and the girls are very excited. Most are gone home for the few days though we are left with 100 students. These girls remain for various reasons - distance, security and the threat of forced marriage is very real for a number of them.
A special thank you to all of the donors, advocates, and supporters of the Loreto Programs in Rumbek. Without your hard work or support none of this would be possible.
