Loreto Centre Crumlin
The Loreto Centre in Crumlin was set up to meet the needs of people in the local community, by providing opportunities for personal growth and community development through the delivery of Adult Community Education and low cost Counselling/Psychotherapy. The Centre seeks to provide a friendly, safe, supportive and challenging environment. Sr. Brede Quirke has been manager of the Loreto Centre since 2009. Brede has worked in education all her life. She is very much inspired by the philosophy of Paolo Freire, and believes that education empowers people to explore their full potential. The Loreto Centre endeavours to offer courses that can help people to make very positive life changes. Why not come and see for yourself! The following programmes are available in the Centre each morning between 10.00 and 1.00 pm:

• UCD Outreach Programme in Women, Gender & Social Justice Studies (level 7)
Counselling Service
The Loreto Centre offers a low cost counselling service. The overall aim of counselling is to provide you with opportunities to explore, discover and clarify ways of living in a more satisfying and resourceful manner.
The role of the Counsellor/Psychotherapist is to facilitate your growth in ways which respect your values, life’s journey and capacity for personal freedom.
