The Loreto Foundation Fund was set up after the sale of Loreto Abbey Rathfarnham, the first house founded by the Loreto Sisters in Ireland. The Foundation Fund is the annual income from the initial capital which was invested by the Sisters following the sale of the Abbey.
The Fund supports groups and organisations endeavouring to improve the lives of the most vulnerable in Irish Society today. The focus is on specific areas of need over a two year cycle. For more details on the fund and how to apply please refer to the guidelines for applications.
