July marked the 10th anniversary of the establishment of our new country South Sudan. Between concerns for Coronavirus and insecurity around that, there has not been any big celebration this year, though of course we find reasons to celebrate within the students!
The rains have finally come and the community have been busy sowing, thankfully we were able to plant early and are not engaged with the weeding. We have a new Governor in the State and he is promising to help bring about more stability, we hope and pray for more peace in the land.
Our Primary and Secondary school continue to study, malaria season too has arrived and the clinic is busy.
Grateful for all your support and prayers in these new and changing times.
United in Spirit,
from all of us in Loreto Rumbek
