Probably one of the more difficult aspects of our lives, yet also the most rewarding and enriching, is the concept of mission.

It does not mean that our identity is characterised totally by what we do; who we are in our being is pivotal.

But, our charism is such that freedom is central so that we are available for where the needs arise in the Church and in society.

This means uprooting, setting seeds, planting, and moving on again. It means taking on and letting go, living and loving, sometimes at huge personal cost; yet, this is core to our identity as Loreto/IBVM.
